Journal Hunter..!!!

One of my activity recently is searching for journal. Because I need journal for my thesis. Unfortunately…my campus has not subscribed every single journal….Ough man…that’s a pitty.!!! In other side my campus declared as a research campus, but they don’t have support facilities…

Ok…as a good student (hoax..!!!!) that condition won’t stop me….If I need journal like IEEE, I can contact my friend that study abroad in Thailand….( Mas Wayan thanks for IEEE journal…hehhehehehehhe..), but that’s take long time, and I don’t want to bother my friend…

Finally, I found one way…and It’s need more effort…

1. Open Google…..

2. Go to Advance Preference, then type “password library”, then you can specified the time. My tip is 3 month ago..!!!

3. Then in Language please choose Chinese…why?? Coz, You will find many journal in China….

4. Then clik Search..

5. There U go….U’ll find many forums in Chinese. In this forum, provide many university and it’s password. Many universities subscribe journal…

6. If you find difficulties with Chinese character. Don’t worry…You can use Google Translate..

My trick is not 100% success but I offer another way to get journal…

I would like to thanks to Google (damn…it’s the best search engine in this planet) and from elfasight.blogspot.com….

Simple Tutorial : Build Artificial Neural Network with MATLAB

This is just one of assignment from my supervisor ‘bout my thesis. I just wanna share ‘bout what I have done with MATLAB. My artificial neural network (ANN) use back propagation algorithm. This is just simple. I want to build my ANN, train and simulate it. And the result is excellent, my ANN can recognize the pattern. Even though the result has a error with the target.

You use big value of learning rate in ANN training….please try to use small value in learning rate..!!

Lightning + Neural = My Thesis

Finnaly, this is the last step in my college. Thesis..!!!! My thesis combines lightning and neuron. This thesis is under supervision Mr. T. Haryono M.Sc and Mr. Samiadji H. M.Sc.

My thesis tries to locate the lightning strike position using neural network algorithm. Okey…I think it confusing now…I will explain it to you….

Lightning strike at transmission line causes some disturbance. This disturbance produces some wave shapes. This shape is the input for the neural network. Neural network can be trained using these inputs. So when the neural network has been trained, it could predict the lightning strike position precisely.

Ok..till the step, do U understand….???

Starting now, I will post my thesis progress in this blog.

KKN Edition : Accidentally in Love

In KKN also has a “Love Story”. Let’s call the personel, Rindra, Tika, and Agus. Tika is a woman, she is located same with Agus. Agus is the leader in Tika’s group. Rindra is a different group with them but Rindra has known Agus from a long time, coz they r one major.

First of all, they still look like in normal condition. But don’t know why, Rindra can get closer with Tika. They send sms to each other. They also looks sit side by side in many events. Rindra still consider the relation with Tika as a friend. Sometimes Tika told about her boyfriend, their relationship is not in good condition. Tika also told about the girl problem in her group. She never told this in her leader. She always tell to Rindra.

Rindra also respond the Tika’s caress. Rindra has a feeling with Tika. But he’s still doubt with his feeling. Cause Tika still has boyfriend and Rindra still doesn’t know Tika deeper. The relation Tika and Rindra, has been watched by Agus. Agus always ask Rindra or Tika what happen between both of them. Rindra finally know that Agus also fall in love with Tika. Rindra put his respect to Agus. Sometimes while Agus and Tika was in one event. Rindra try to not get closer with Tika. Rindra always keep silent even though in one car with Tika. If this happen, in the night Tika always send sms to Rindra, “what’s happen with you? Why’d you look silent today?” I don’t know whether Tika knows Agus love her or not. But Rindra still keep his feeling until KKN over.

After KKN’s over, I don’t know, who can win the Tika’s heart. But it’s just my suggestion to Rindra. You’r in bad position. In one side, you want to get Tika and in other side, you don’t wanna loose your friend. It’s hard decision, isn’t. I think you have to choose your friend. And Tika is totally different with you, she is from high social class (although love doesn’t care ‘bout this one) but you gonna hard to adapt in her life.

KKN Edition : earthquake victim’s mental

Earthquake that happened almost 2 years ago have destroyed all building in Puton (my KKN location ). Over 90% house in Puton was destroy. But now all citizen can live in under roof again.

The acceleration of development was caused by many donation that lay down in this village. One of our KKN program is distribute the production tools for home industrialist in Puton. We faced many problem such as jealously from citizen who doesn’t on the list. This indicate that citizen’s mental always want to get donation. This is the bad effect from donation. It makes citizen doesn’t want to struggle. I just remembered the phrase from our first president, Soekarno. One of the famous phrase is BERDIKARI ( Berdiri dengan kaki sendiri ). In English, it’s mean “Stand up with ourselves feet”.

Although the donation helpful but it’s not everlasting, so I think we have to start to build our land with our effort.

 

KKN Edition : KKN with Overseas Volunteer Hanseo University.

In the mid of February, we had guest from Hanseo University Korea. They are 12 students and 2 profesors. Let me remember their name…( please wait a minute )…they are Woong Ki, Eun Sook, Soon Young, San Dong…I’m sorry I couldn’t remember the rests.

Their program is giving a donation to Puton Village, 3 cows and 4 hair equipments. Beside giving a donation the also opened a salon for a week in Puton. This salon is free of charge. So it’s a big opportunity to try the Korean hair style…J.

For a week, they also joined in our program. We build the volley ball venue in Kembangsongo, cleaned the post earthquake ruin, cleaned the cattle cage and many more.

In the end of their visitation, we played futsal together, even though Korea is one level above Indonesia, KKN UGM student could beat Hanseo…viva Indonesia…

For all my Korea friend I just wanna say….Hanyong gaseo…..

 

KKN edition: Foreword

Start this post I will tell you all ’bout my KKN. KKN in English mean social development. All bachelor student must attend this program.

My KKN is located in Puton, Bantul regency. It’s southern part of Yogyakarta. The KKN’s themes is ’bout home industry development for earthquake victim.

Now KKN is over…There r many thing should be done..like my research and thesis..hopefully I can graduate this November..

Jazz never die

         Jazz is one of my new fav genres of music; even this genre is older than my age. This music is so cozy and easy listening for me. Might me I heard this music from my father or my grandpa for the first time. I think this music only for old person, coz you can see the singer is as old as my grand or even more.

But now my winamp playlist is full of David Benoit, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and many jazz singer. Not all of them from my grandpa age, there are also Jamie Cullum with his Mid Trick, Norah Jones, Michael Buble. They are representing from modern age.

Those are from western. From my country there many singer too. Tompi is very soulful singer. He is singer from Bali Lounge. If you want to hear his voice, you can download their song “Something Wrong”. I think, his voice is very jazzy. Maliq and the essential also. This band combine jazz and other musics, like disco, reggae. They so great and I like “Terdiam” hits from their first album. From their last album I like “Heaven”, you should check it.

                For you, if you want to refresh your mind, jazz will make it happen. Just for your info, I usually play jazz at night in my laptop, hearing Frank Sinatra with his “My Way” or Lois Armstrong’s hit “What a wonderful world”, with coffee or hot tea as friends. I can grab more idea and inspiration. You don’t believe!!!! Just try it

 

TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday)

    Friday become very special day whan I was Internship Student. After worked for 5 day, finally we get holiday in weekend. Now Friday also become very special day also, because this week is tiring. This week I have 2 mid-semester test. This test should be held in October. Cos I haven’t arrived from my Internship Program, I should have it this week. Thank for nice lecturer who would like to hold the test even it’s not in scheduled time. And this Friday is last day, the subject is Digital Engineering.

I have a plan after finishing my test, I would like to go home immediately. I will spend my weekend in my hometown, Klaten. The distance from Yogyakarta to Klaten is about an hour. And as a commuter, I am used to. Hopefully this Friday, I can do my test well. and I could spend my weekend also Wish me luck dude..!!!!!
